Ouch, I could swear I had written: "I also tried Daz Loader (uninstall, reboot, then install) to no avail.". In any case, I'll reply to that thread with my inquiry. Thank you very much.
Yea I didn't see that...lol But I saw your post in Daz thread and thats the place to be with your question...lol
That is messed up. I know M$ has been blocking a lot of retail keys, mine too . I have been also hearing similar reports from win7vista users. IDK what the hell M$ is doing but they are stupid as hell
@ KaOSoFt, first thing i would be doing if finding out why it is not working forget loaders e.c.t for the moment at a push contact M$ considering it is retail key. why run loader when you have a genuine key.
Well, I wouldn't call it less trouble. I didn't have to install anything else before. It was almost copy and past (actually, write it down). Also, it was the first retail software I had bought, so I felt kind of excited about it. Call me whatever you want... Arrgh, I can't seem to link back to Daz's thread, where I made public my story on this. Here it is: I don't know how Microsoft handles official retailers, but since they couldn't verify them, I'm giving it up. I've come back in multiple times to reclaim my guarantee, but they say the product they sold was sealed, and in fact it was. I checked, and I didn't notice anything wrong with it. So, for this time, I've lost. I will be more cautious about buying retail software next time, giving this was my first time. I've bought software (games, mostly) online, but never on a retail store. Oh, well, Daz loader is working just fine. Thanks!
