Hi A Windows 10 installation was performed automatically without the user's permission on a Windows 7 computer. To uninstall or downgrade one must go to Start Menu and select “Settings”, click the “Update & Security” icon and select “Recovery”, then “Go back to Windows 7”. This is OK when you are inside Windows 10, but if you haven’t the password to enter the system in which other way is possible to do this? From the outside? Many thanks
i usually restore the old os from windows.old by moving the current os folders to new folder and moving from windows.old to c:\ might work here too
One of the Troubleshooting options in Windows RE is to rollback to the previous version of Windows. From the log in screen, select the Power icon then hold Shift and select Restart. That wil give you access to the Advanced Startup Menu and Windows RE.
That could be done only if you'd Remote Control installed and running on that machine and the apps were also taken over by upgrade to W10! I'd tested that with RAdmin 3.5 and that worked well.
