    Tested on 7 Professional x86 with Office 2010, both activated fine.

    Tested on 7 Ultimate x64 with Office 2010 (x86), again it worked.

    I will test this. How do I install the GVLK and set the machine name to local host?

    And also please tell me how to undo these things :)

    GVLK: slmgr -ipk <GVLK> (Usual way.)

    Host Machine Name: slmgr -skms localhost or slmgr -skms localhost:1688 in case your port is not at default.

    Undo: Reinstall some other PKey. Activation subsystem will reset automatically.

    Of course you need to replace GVLK with a Volume Key.

    What edition are you trying to activate?

    I have not played around yet with KMS just so you should know...lol

    I have x86 ultimate

    Can you lend me a volume key?...lol

    Well, Ultimate cannot be activated by Volume License.

    Only Professional and Enterprise, and of course the Servers.

    Ok I thought so. Can you show me how to undo what I've done ;)

    p.s. I guess itf it would be helpful I could install professional in vb to help you out if you wanted?

    No need to undo anything.

    The Volume subsystem cannot be activated on your edition anyway so it doesnt matter.

    BTW, as for your edit, the GVLKs are all in product.ini on the DVD. Just in case you ever need one....lol...

    Did you want me to test this in vb? It will take about an hour to install the pro x86

    I'm just doing this to learn ;)

    Yes virtual box

    And this key I will find where? Meaning when I get pro installed what is the first thing I do?

    product.ini will have this key?

    Global (or Generic?) Volume License Key, if im not totally mistaken.

    KMS emulator works even if it is not run as Admin or Firewall access is not set.
