A long time I've been trying to find out if AMD-V is actually enabled or not.
There are tools to determine if it's there, but they all say disabled in bios, of unavailable.
However vmware can run x64 oses, which should only be possible with AMD-V on, on the other hand virtualbox cant use AMD-V cause it also says it's unavailable.

So I decided to download the latest bios from acer and open it up with modbin.

Under Edit setup screen -> Advanced BIOS Features -> CPU Feature, there is a virtualization option.
    It shows this:
    BIOS.png
So is the thing on (cause BIOS/SETUP default = enabled), or is it off cause the whole feature is set to disabled?

I now changed the disabled to normal and saved all to "TEST.BIN".
I can open the new TEST.BIN and all seems OK, so is it safe to flash with the new file? Then I can enable/disable it in the bios and I'm sure it's on.
