    Advanced Settings would be nice

Hello, I am a newb on this subject, been trying to figure out if there is a way to get some advanced settings into my bios.

I have an old dual processor Tyan server motherboard, Athlon MP processors. The bios has absolutely no CPU or memory timing or voltage settings. I would really like to overclock this thing, had it for 10 years, as my desktop, and its worked great with one CPU update and a few video card updates and adding SATA drives (64-bit 66Mhz PCI-X came in handy for this). The 133Mhz FSB is holding it back though.

I was able to open up the bios with Pheonix Bios Editor, with a few unrecognized stings, but I don't see how I can add fields.

    Thanks for any help,
    Tom

Open the sp58982.exe with 7-Zip or WinRAR. Then take the *.fd file. Most probably its RSA signed, so can't be modified.

Just parse the *.fd file using andyp's tool. Then you can find whether its RSA signed or not.

By parse you mean change .bin to .fd, ive already done that. If by andyp's tool you mean Phoenix Tool v2.11, then i've already tried that, and i never got the word decrypting in the log. I instead receive the error Not Pheonix/Dell/Insyde/EFI Bios.

    edit*

Alternative, if for some reason this course of action does not work, can i post the BIOS dump from Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0. Maybe that can be modified and then i could just flash that?
I can post the official HP F.06 and my F.06 bios dump.

You can't 'cause it's RSA signed. :excl:
