Update 8.1 Offline

Hello, I need to update my 8.1 (kms activated) offline like simplix does for Windows 7. What should I use?

 

first download updates with whdownloader https://forums.mydigitallife.net/forums/whdownloader.56/
then download this abbodi's integrator script for 8.1 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/abbodi1406s-batch-scripts-repo.74197/#post-1343297

I downloaded whdownloader, it doesn't show anything to download. Maybe I should add some list?

also I don't need integrator scripts, I won't make ISO. I'll just update my current PC.

 

click left side button of select category option in whd for downloading list..
script integrate updates in current os by default but it can also be used in iso..
also dont forget to read, readme file in script folder.

yes.. just place the script next to WHDownloader.exe and everything will be just fine.

 

Also considering my PC had 0 updates before, which updates should I pick to download?

I picked baseline, hotfix and security and security is my only concern. There are also 2 branches for win 8.1 updates, I picked the one that seems older to avoid any issues before I install newer ones.

Mate, I downloaded and installed all other updates (non update 3) before I read this. What kind of a problem am I gonna have?

 

you arent going to have any problem since windows update simply skip any installed updates.. cheers mate
