    Hello dear readers @MDl
This time im not the one that has a problem.
My friend got a MAC and yesterday she decided to update it to Maverics.
And here is the problem. After downloading it has to install, and so it does.
But then it says it has to reboot. Well, it does not. It has been standing all night
now and still no change?? Does anyone have a clue about what might be the problem??

Well, never mind. I used task manager to force quit a program that got stuck.
    That worked out.

You can force it to shutdown.

    sounds like fsck is needed.
restore original os to factory new ( backup files first) do updates. then upgrade.
