    New test on version 2.8:

Use Rufus to create a boot USB from the Linux Based ATI HOME ISO downloaded directly from Acronis, and it worked, despite that fact that the ATI HOME Linux ISO is still a hybrid ISO. After clicking "Start" button in bottom right, ask Rufus to write to USB in DD mode instead of ISO mode. This way, the created boot USB will always work.

This is great. No need to install the ATIH program on my computer in order to make boot USB anymore. Rufus made it a lot easier.:clap:

Is there a support forum for Rufus?

    I'm booting a 64bit NTFS formatted key into WinPE. I have a 32bit & 64bit wims.
On MSI motherboards it boots legacy & UEFI without issue.
On Gigabyte my only option is legacy.
    Any ideas?
My Fat32 formatted USB Key works on the Gigabyte board....

for uefi boot from usb you dont need a gpt partition. format it as fat32/mbr and copy efi folder to usb drive. your install.wim file should be smaller then 4GB. i am using it this way without any problem.

But it helps having one, so that you're sure that your device cannot be booted from BIOS.

    @Akeo, thanks for the explanation.
You are correct, I'm not booting an MS ISO. I'm booting into WinPE. When I boot Legacy I have the option from BCD to choose booting 32 or 64bit WinPE. If I boot in UEFI, of course it will boot the 64bit WinPE. From PE I can diagnose, repair, install OS - whatever.
The 32bit WinPE is rarely used but there are some old apps that won't work under 64bit PE.

Yes, before someone suggests WinPE SE I have used it but am more than happy to use scripts from a command prompt.

I did a search before and there are some Gigabyte boards that include the NTFS EFI driver.
Hope fully this will be implemented by all manufacturers...

Thanks for the reply & explanations! I'll check out that cheat mode...

I want to know if with Rufus 2.9 is possible to create a GPT partition for UEFI with NTFS file system.
I selected NTFS for my AIO Windows 10 with 6gb and rufus has
completed successfully the process but when I boot my laptop from efi i have an error to load the correct driver.
