    @Akeo I have a weird situation I wanna ask you about.
    I made win10 and win11 usbs with only the option to skip the privacy stuff, a.k.a ProtectYourPC=3, but when I install them I have to go through this error and an additional restart in order to complete the installation(yes it does complete perfectly fine apart from this error):
    windows_install_error.png
    And yes, I put the same $OEM$ folder Rufus generates inside the win11 and win10 isos I used, booted them into virtualbox - same result in both languages.
    I even did it the way msft documented - autounattend.xml file in the root of the usb(or iso) - questions don't get skipped, as if there's no answer file where they said to put it...
    Is there anything I'm missing? If you wish I can provide you the isos I use(I service them myself - .1 base + updates).

    @Akeo

    Just out of interest, how did you manage to add this option to not have BitLocker enabled automatically? I would like to do that in OOBE setup for my current Windows recovery image so when a user creates an account Windows doesn't start encrypting files automatically without their consent.

    Is there a registry entry or setting to do that?

    Why? Because he's no longer supporting Windows 7?
