    Hi there!

I'm trying to modify the DMI for my Award Bios on my (old) Asus P4B Board:
with the tools that I find here and outside.
    (Dmicfg, dmiflash,dmi236..)
But when I try to modify it, it just comes back saying there is a error..
    eg :"DMI function not supported;"
    "Updating DMI have some problem."

    Testet on Bioses: 1010, 1012, (1013.004 beta - build in 2003)
    what is my mistake?

Modbin6 cannot open, wrong Version..Which is the right Version?

What I have to do to use my slp WinXP? anyone can help?

    TIA :)

No one of the available modbin versions is able to open your bios. But it's possible to insert SLP1.0 manually. Therefore you have to know about the structure of a Award bios. Or you can request for a mod. I can do it for you.

    But:
I had a look at your bios. There is a Hewlett string already inside, but I'm not sure if it's at the right range.
    Please check it before:

Install Hwdirect. Goto memory dump, set address f0000, size ffff and press dump. Search for Hewlett string.
If found you can use a Hewlett OEM CD!

Alternatively you can try DmiScope to edit DMI!
