my latitude E 6510 has these problems: the boot (bios) is very slow and every reboot stops. It is therefore not possible to run a bios update (now version A5). Who can help me? Thank you
Yes my port USB is ok. I can Boot in USB mode but in dos mode the ultimate step of upgrade is reboot and my Latitude hang with black screen (no DELL logo)
Remove battery and cmos battery. Wait for about 10 minutes before you install both batteries again. At first time boot, you will be asked to enter time and date. Reboot again and flash latest BIOS.
Can You explain, what it means, not possible to run a bios update (now version A5) - and especially, what is A5, however usually the Latitude E6510 system has/uses BIOS A09, A10, A11 Does it means, that You have something which is called A5?
only after 15 seconds The pc show the Dell logo. The bios version is A5. If I turn off the PC the next boot is ok. if I reboot the pc, the blue LED flashes and does not start. Changed CPU and changed ram, unplugged HD CDROM WIFI card. The update of the bios from dos or from windows starts but the restart is required and the bios does not update and always remains in the A5 version. Try multiple versions of the bios. HELP ME
