    Hi, I am sure you guys get this question a lot but I'm kinda lost.

    Basically I need to upgrade my LTSB install from 2017 due to some compatibility issues with some software I need for work, but I am quite concerned about accidentally doing a fresh install or my programs, files and settings being deleted somehow.

    From what I lurked I get it is possible to do an upgrade from ltsb to ltsc without worrying about data loss, right? I just don't have time to re-install my whole SO and put my stuff together again, how should I do it? I am downloading the iso for LTSC in the magnet torrent file on a this pastebin ( pastebin.com/raw/4E7xLfS5) currently, Idk if i should download another iso.

    @Enthousiast
    Thank you for the quick reply.

    I have two more questions. Should I go with the initial release iso or can I go directly with the february 2019 release? The february 2019 release has bugs fixed right?

    Also will it ask me for a key or whatever during the installation? Thanks again for your help.

    The February 2019 release contains fixes for the upgrade issues to a 1809-based version. Use the February 2019 one, both won't ask you for a key.
