Upgrade from Starter to Ultimate without reinstall?

    Hello,

    is it possible to upgrade form a preinstalled (SLIC 2.1) Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate without reinstall?

    Use Windows Anytime Upgrade. Start it and insert one of the Ultimate OEM:SLP keys ;)

    Thanks!! It really works!!

    Hint for others: You can't use the "slmgr.vbs". You have to use the "Windows Anytime Upgrade" application from the Startmenu.

    Another prime example of how Microsoft lived up to their hype and REALLY cracked down on piracy with Vista and Windows 7.

    What a joke - you can buy the cheapest and upgrade to the most expensive simply by typing 25 keystrokes.

    Why would you write the OEMSLP key when you can copy it :p
