I have a Dell inspirion 1545 laptop that I want to do an upgrade in place. When I try to run the upgrade it keeps failing saying there is not enough space on D: drive which is my factory restore partition. I can't find a way to make it upgrade my C: partition which is what it should be doing.
I've tried with my original W7 disk and my SP1 slipstreamed disk. It keeps complaining about not enough disk space on drive D: which is my factory restore partition. My vista partition is C: which is where it should be installing but I never get a chance to pick anything. There is plenty of free space on my C: drive.
Got it going now, I pulled some files off that partition and it moved on so hopefully it will all work out.
