Was thinking about upgrading my OS from 32 Bit to 64Bit and wanted to know if all my stuff would remain intact or am I in for a clean install?? I realize I will have to upgrade some drivers from 32 to 64 bit but will there be any other issues??
Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks.

do you have the necessary ram to be running x64? just curious why you are wanting to upgrade in the first place?

I had 4 GB RAM and just inherited another 4, so I wanted to get some use out of it as 32bit limits you to around 3.3 and that PAE override will mess your system. My system is very capable of running 64 bit but I always went to 32 bit because of the then driver and program availability.
So, Tito, I guess I'm hosed unless I want to start over. Just kicking the tires. Thanks.
