    Hi all

I have a laptop with windows 10 home preinstalled and yesterday i tried to do a clean install using windows 10 pro but after installation completed it installed windows 10 home and not pro?
I know that the key is embedded but is there a way i could install pro without having to install home first?

Simple method to bypass MSDM (BIOS key).

    Code:
    [Channel]
    _Default
    [VL]
    0
Copy/Paste the above text into notepad and save as ei.cfg, if the saved file is ei.cfg.txt rename to just ei.cfg , copy the new ei.cfg file into Sources folder within the ISO and save.

You can use PowerISO/UltraISO (paid for types), or any free ISO editor that will allow you to edit/save the ISO.

This will then bypass the internal MSDM bios key check, you should then be given a choice of Pro/Home etc.

Note: Installing Pro will not be activated unless you have a Pro key or HWID {digital license} for Pro, or use an alternative activation method such as KMS.

Or If you are using a USB memory stick to install, just copy the new ei.cfg file into the Sources folder on the USB stick.
