Hi all. Yeah, me again. I've just remembered that I have Windows Vista Home Premium (Genuine Key and stuff) Can it be upgraded to a Windows 7 full activated and operative OS? If so, how? If so, It'll be upgraded to W7 Ultimate or to W7 Home Premium? Thanks for answering my doubts by the way.
Oh Noes it's Dreyfus You can use the anytime upgrade and you'll be legal. But like ifeife2 said Windows Vista Home Premium -> Windows 7 Home Premium
Why do you want to upgrade!!??. There are lots of loader for you! (just joking...hehe). I have a question regarding this topic too. If I buy an upgrade version, will I be able to do a CLEAN install?. I guess I can't do it with the DVD they ship with the upgrade but what about if I download a full retail version, install it and then I use the key that came with the upgrade.... is this possible?. Thanks.
Thanks for answering. And NO. I'm tired of loaders I guess... Haha : P BTW, what diferences are there between W7HP and W7U? And will I be able to choose between 32 and 64 bit? Thanks.
Technically anyone can get the upgrade discount. Not likely a lot of people actually buy the most expensive version. I am thinking if you can find a vista x64 disc as proof, the installer will let you use that fake evidence to upgrade.
So you're saying I must find a WVHP 64 bit installer to upgrade to W7HP 64 bit? They original key I possess will be ok with that? And how much costs to upgrade?
Upgrade way discarded -_- Should the WGA way work forever? =S EDIT: BTW, my friend with a Dimension 9200 (same as I) couldn't activate with loaders and stuff. Now he's trying the WGA method, but he won't know if it's working till tomorrow, if the 30 day trial version changes to 29.
