Upgraded to 8.1 through the Store, but never got an option to save the ISO.

    I started the Windows 8.1 download through the Windows Store last night, and when I woke up, Windows 8.1 was already installed!

    WTF?

    How do I get my upgrade ISO file?

    What were you running before, 8.1 preview or 8?

    I was running Windows 8.

    It's not available for Store Upgrade

    only for Standalone using WindowsSetupBox.exe

    Was there some kind of timer that I didn't see while I was asleep that defaulted to just installing the update without any user input provided?

    i update from store, but can't find the download location to backup, and yes, it instal w/out any user input, only need to accept the EULA at the end of install.

    Its creates a Windows.old folder (i think in case if you com back to windows 8 or 8.1 preview)
