Hello there! I'm terribly sorry but I can't find the answer to my question anywhere. I have Win 7 Ultimate which has been activated using Win Loader and shows as Genuine. Is there any way to know if upgrading to Win 10 will work?

    Many thanks in advance...

    Ah ok....

Here's a problem. It doesn't allow me to any more - keeps asking to restart the PC to update... The Win 10 white window has also gone...

both cases the same, you have to setup and upgrade to activate anyway

this worked for me when I updated my W7 copy, it was legit though.

Then I hit "next" & continued w/ the update to W10.
After hitting the desktop & letting the new W10 x64 settle in, I checked & it was activated.

Edit: must on not been what you needed, deleted image

Thanks, I have downloaded the exe file, but double-clicking has no effect at all

Do you mean that an activated Win 7 cannot be upgraded to a legit Win 10?

Sorry to bump this, but maybe somebody knows how to fix this? I'm now stuck without the ability to update windows at all. Without reinstalling is there any way to get my updates? I have tried the little app from this site for win updates. Also tried deleting contents of the update folders. Still keeps asking to restart to complete the update...

    Thanks in advance.

If you are using a win 7 loader then some times it works and sometimes it doesn't...I can't prove it but it seemed to be easier to upgrade to win 10 when it first came out i.e. if using win 7 loader.

Since you had already upgrade, have you uninstall the Win loader to see if update worked ?

Why would I do that if I have win 10 activated with digital entitlement as the way I look at it is:-as win 7 is gone the loader (if it's still there) is doing nothing and anyway if the loader is still on your hard drive then MS know all about loaders and are just happy to get the whole world hooked on win 10.
