Ok hi guys I recently burned windows 7 ultimate to a cd and didn't know that if I have windows vista home premium I'm supposed to get windows 7 home premium and which I read if I want to still update to windows 7 ultimate I have to do a whole clean install is this true?
I just want to be sure before I start everything and I don't want any errors and I got a few errors when I check the windows 7 program that tells you if you have any problem in application but I have in a few and I tryed fixing them but I still have like 3 left and was wondering is it still find or my computer will mess up after the install?

    Thanks in advance.

So a clean install will also update everything that needs updating right?

Cuz like I said I get errors in that program that you use before updating to windows 7 and got a few errors

No a clean install means you lose all the software currently installed. Install windows 7 then reinstall your software
