Ram prices have more than doubled within the past year, not a good time to buy if you do not have too. Hopefully by 2018-'19 prices will go down as they are predicting
Posting your brand name and complete model number of your computer would help determine the best capacity and speed available for your pc

the Laptop RAM arrived 5 minutes before this post, and I changed out the old with the new ram, booted up a parted magic usb drive, and it works thanks guys, you give more help than this other forum im a part of (7+ years) that answer diddly **** if I have a problem (being polite and concise in my explanations)
