hello question for you all. i have just gotten a dell studio 1558 came with windows 7 home premium installed. now from searching around i found a copy of dells windows 7 ultimate. i know i can reformat to install cause i have slic 2.1 it stated in thread i got it from that no key would be needed as it would work as slic is correct for my laptop. but my question is can i just upgrade with it . not having to reinstall? or could i just enter in the dell key floating around and it would auto upgrade to ultimate? i dont wanna loose all the programs i have installed over the past few days since buying.any input would help..
ya ijust found the thread. doing now. i noticed my home premim key is there lol . so i figured screw it try. says accepted and working. even with my legit premium i didnt install 933 update dont think i will. thanks for the verification.
