Upgrading Win 10 Home x64 to Win 10 Pro x 64 Question

    Hi All,

    Is this possible? & if so, any Tips or Tutorials available? TIA for any pointers....

    click start, settings,system, about at bottom left, change key... done!

    Will it keep all the Files & Programs in Tact? Or will I have to reinstall again? Cheers

    Everything will be kept. But you need to re-run your activator.

    Upgrading is not a problem, you can keep everything. But after, you have to activate (buy a licence, use a KMS activator).

    Upgraded OK, All files there, Ran the Activator, Have Win Enterprise Edition, rather than Pro...Is that correct?

    You used KMSpico? That's a known bug.

    Will a KMS activator work on a non-VL upgraded Home-to-Pro install that's already activated via BIOS/OEM?

    If the system had Home HWID/OEM/RETAIL activated and you've upgraded to Pro and there is no HWID for Pro, KMS will work to activate the Pro install. Or other KMS capable editions.

    PS, abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL, KMSpico and MTK can activate VL and non VL Windows editions.

    In the obvious way, updating a parallel w7 pro/ultimate installation to w10 pro.

    Maybe i was misstaken. I've looked it up but it's a bug on a previous MTK version.

    v 2.6 was already running on the machine, so just used that one....

    Do we need to worry about this being deactivated in the future for some reason?
