Hey I have a simple question that I haven't found the answer to. People here recommend upgrading to 10, then doing a fresh install. Instead of that, are there any negatives to upgrading, then running DISM and sfc/scannow, then deleting Windows.old and "previous windows installations" in disk cleanup? Also I have found the answer to the following question, but just to be sure, 8.1 Pro -> Win 10 Pro, right? Ta!
Interesting question, I'm not happy to do a clean right now and going from 7 enterprise. So I'm looking 4ward to a clean path to uppgrade whithout whip the whole enchilada
No negatives to fear. Do as liked, use the upgraded Win8/8.1, refresh or install anew. Will all work. Yep, Win 8.1 Pro will go Win 10 Pro.
