My friend has a laptop a Dell XPS M1330 Laptop to be exact. The problem is that they have so many passwords on this thing that it would drive anyone crazy!!!!, but the main problem is that they dont remember the ADMINISTRATIVE PASSWORD in the bios so they cannot modify any settings in it. How do i go about resetting the ADMIN PASSWORD.

This can easily be done with a quick search. There are posts relating to this in this very sub forum. Just search " reset bios password". No need to start a whole new thread on this subject.

If you find out how to do it and it works please come back here and let me know. I've got the same issue. Thank you.

PLEASE, would you help me unlock my harddrive disc with a password.
I have a Dell XPS M1330 and whenever I boot it up, I get the white error screen message "hard-disk #QJD0P977290-595B is protected by a password authentication system ".
Is it possible to erase password from Dell XPS 1330? Do you know what PSW I could use to unlock the hard-drive?
My service tag is #QJD0P977290-595B (0 with a point inside itself)
    Many thanks in advance.

In any case that someone has the PSW generator for 595B's, please REPLY TO THIS ! THANKS ALOT

    Hi,
My son found out my password so in frustration I changed my bios password to something uncommon. Now I don remember the password an havent been able to work on it for 2 days now. All my work stuff on it. I was wondering if someone can help me recover/master password:

Thank you for the support after inputting the code it checks it, and then the same white screen only the code has changed. As it appears: #***5VJ2Z08Y. Now I abort restart and the original code I submitted earlier reappears so I re-enter the code you gave with the same results. Again thank you for your effort
