URGENT problems with activation . windows 8.1 pro build 9600

    well i downloaded windows 8.1 pro preactivated version from torrent.
    but now the problem i face is that it says u need to activate windows .
    although i have got no watermark of non activation but it says i need to activate

    First help i need is to know the time by which i can activate it.
    second is how to activate it


    i have tried all methods
    toolkit , kms , cmd but all have errors

    and somewhere i read this message is displayed for few days and then disappears

    need help

    ok... maybe you should dl and install a clean (original) version?

    What (version) did you exactly download?

    ...yep correct. Then again, where else are 'they' gonna go? ;)

    MDL is like a 'philanthropic institution', always helping out 'the needy'. ...even fight for seemingly lost causes and never give up untill the 'problem' is solved. :D

    already installed everything in this so dont wanna again download a new one and install it.
    its x64
    any help u can provide

    Retry it with an original ISO from M$. I never would install something 'pre-activated'. It could be modified in a way you don't like.

    run sfc /scannow in elevated cmd prompt and report what it says

    no, not the version number but the entire text. Perhaps it told you that there were some corrupted files or such

    Yep ... DOA at it's best :cool2:. If that command fails it's a hopeless case. Get a legit install media and try again, beginning from the scratch :good3:.

    in the meantime scan is running at 40%
    Tell me How much time is there to activate it ? Drawbacks of not activating ??
    As I was a windows 7 user till now
