Hi, I have Gateway DX4860 with an acer MoBo. I installed (asus pcie 3.0 adapter & external opt drive) it fails to recognize the optical drive in 3.0 adapt. yet its always recognized in usb 2.0 slot on MoBo asus tells me its a bios issue and refuse help bios appears locked (ami P01-A02). is this an update issue?? or does bios need flash to correct. (be patient please im still learning ) Thank you in adavance for any consideration
thanks i went and did as u said i appreciate it .. unfortunatly no luck... im going to put a different card in and update as you instructed just to verify.. thanks again
