Hi guys, i´m getting trouble trying to use my usb 3.0 port.

    The scenario is :

Got a external drive with usb 3.0 interface.

If i put it on a 2.0 port it Works perfectly.

If i put on the 3.0 port it tries to connect and says "malfunction message"

    i´m on a ASUS 550C.

any idea of what to do?

Doesn't that just mean that the usb 3 port is damaged? Did u try connecting another drive to that port?

And what does this have to do with Windows 10??

Many people are trying to blame windows 10 for all the problems in the world.

I just updated to 10586 and now my garage door opener is flaky. Damn you Microsoft!

You may need to install driver for the usb3.0 port.

The driver was installed with the chipset INF installer.

With nothing in the USB port, go to devise MGR and expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right click on 3.0 device and click Uninstall. Cold boot.
