Ok, all USB Ports are working, can plug in flash drives, printers, what ever and they work. The Problem, I have a HP wireless Mouse. It was working ok in one of the usb ports, booted one day and it said it was an Unknown Device so I plugged it in to a different port and it worked until I rebooted. Plugged it in to the third usb port and it has been working fine. If I plug it back in to one of the other two usb ports it comes up Unknown Device. Computer: Acer Aspire One 10.1 D150 Netbook, Win 7 Ultimate, 2 gig, 160 gig hd. Also, is there a way in Win 7 to disable the computer from waking up if the mouse is moved if the computer is in sleep mode.
No luck finding a fix, so I reinstalled Windows 7 all seems ok again. Not sure what got messed up, but not hardware, just something wrong in Win 7
In control panel (large thumbs view) -> power management go into advanced settings. In that list you'll find the option to disable wake from hybernate through external devices... gen555
