    Anyone is having this problem?
I plug my usb drive on Windows 7, run diskpart and run the command "att disk set readonly"
the I run "att disk" and check that the usb is readonly.
Then I plug that usb drive on windows 10, run diskpart, run "att disk" and the usb is not readonly and I can write to that usb drive.
I go back to Windows 7 and the usb is write protected.
    What's happening here?

it stores settings of write block in win 7 not in usb.. you need a drive encryption prog .. or a oem manufacturer tool to lock it (if they even have one).

Hi, thanks a lot, I thought the readonly flag was in the usb drive.
