    Hello Enthousiast,
Win7Pe is indeed interesting for old ancient laptop with low ram
However it's been a while since I've used
    You can build a Win7pe from Win7PESE: w7pese.cwcodes.net/Compressed/index.php
Or you also have a very good builder Livesyspro developed by Kare to create a Win7PE -> Win10PE: www kare-net.de
Good luck with the old laptop :)

Weird, currently I get the message: Sorry, you need to have 5 posts before you can save or post content containing links.

    thank you for the answer
I am using Win10XPE because with Win10PE SE I never managed to get it to work.
I was using windows 10.iso, maybe that's the reason.
    Thanks;

    Just for clarity:
These updates to the "PESE" projects are not done by the original author (ChrisR), because he focuses mainly on his latest PE project, Win10XPE, which was last updated on January 16.

Just scroll up a few messages to read Freddie-O's very clear explanation of the difference between the two projects.

    @ reboot after 72 hours

I've been playing with active data studio boot disk and found this on their web site ...... could it be of any help ? ---- >

Why does the computer reboot after 72 hours after running anything from within Boot Disk?

Windows PE reboots after 72 hours of continuous running. This is a standard WinPE behavior implemented by Microsoft. For more information, please refer to the Microsoft's MSDN article: Benefits and Limitations of Windows PE.

Microsoft's partner System Internals has a toolset for a workaround. Download the suite.

Pssuspend64.exe is the app you need for 64 bit bootdisk. Place this utility in User_Files (bootdisk creator does this with the add files tab.

Make a cmd file and include it in BootDisk_Scripts, below is its content:

    cd /d %~dp0
    set curDrive=%~d0
    cd %curDrive%\User_Files\
    pssuspend64.exe winlogon.exe
    pssuspend64.exe wininit.exe

I am only familiar with Win10XPE and it does have Narrator.
Sorry I don't know much about the other WinPEs (Update) and even with Win10XPE I do a Basic Build
Personally I would look for a portable screen reader and test it
Maybe there are others who might be of more help

NVDA is an Optional Application.... You can download Optional Applications via > Utilities / Mega Optional Application Download > "XPE OPTIONAL ADD-ON BASE PACKAGE"
