    Hi friends,

I hope everyone here is good.

I wanna know what's the last Windows 11 build that this great tool can work.

    Thanks in advanced

    Thanks, @chrisr
Like the good old days, a nice holiday gift from the Friendly Frenchman!

    Talk about traditions:
    (1) You did the double http: https: again in the link, so it doesn't work (yet)
EDIT: And of course, as soon as I typed this, you fixed it!
    (2) Looks like German C't is breaking their Win10XPE tradition and will use Homes32's "PhoenixPE" as a base for their "Notfall Windows" in issue 2-2023 (release date 12/30/2022).
Oh well, their loss I guess :) Still, I signed up for a free 2-issue test subscription, so I will check it out when it's released.

    Hi Atari800XL,
No problem here. The error is related to giving full control to "Everyone" on "E:\PhoenixPE\Workbench\PhoenixPE\Target" directory.
In relation to your path you can try in cmd as admin with the following command line:
    Code:
E:\PhoenixPE\Projects\PhoenixPE\Tools\x64\SetACL.exe -ot "file" -on "E:\PhoenixPE\Workbench\PhoenixPE\Target" -actn ace -actn setprot -op "dacl:p_nc" -ace "n:S-1-1-0;p:full;s:y"
If all goes well like here, you should have the message: SetACL finished successfully.

I have another problem that bothers me more. I put an AV exception on E:\PhoenixPE folder, to avoid being bothered by false alarms. But it does not seem to be enough, the Decompress command seems to go through the %temp% folder and I'm not going to put any exceptions there
Ski vacations for me now, see you next time :)

Thanks ChrisR, I already tried your suggesion before, unfortunately it doesn't work.
But please concentrate on skiying, instead of supporting somebody else's PE builder :)
Jut kidding of course, hope you have a great vacation.

Freddie-O, PhoenixPE is nice to have as a "backup" PE builder, but I do prefer Win10XPE, even more so after ChrisR's latest update.
I'm sure I will get to the bottom of that SetACL problem someday, maybe when the new C't issue is released in two weeks.
It's not so much that I personally want to use it, I look at it more like "what would the readers of the magazine think of this new builder".
    Something like that, anyway....

Is it possible somehow with WinPE builder for Win7 / WinPE 3.0 / 3.1 to add GUI to Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V Core?
