Using Dell DVD to install on Lenovo Desktop

    Hi guys.
    I've been reading through the forums for a while. Great community.:cool:

    What I wanted to ask is this:

    I replaced a hard drive in my Lenovo Desktop.
    (I first confirmed that I was at SLIC 2.1 - and made backups of certificates/settings/bins, etc.)

    I then realized that Lenovo didn't provide a re-install disc, so I decided to try and use a Dell disc for Windows 7 Professional.

    After installing the OS, I used Windows Loader 1.9.7 and it seemed to activate offline OK.

    Am I ok to do regular Windows Updates, or should I keep Automatic Updates disabled for the time being?

    U have SLIC 2.1 + U used DAZ's loader = It should install necessary cert & key ~ u r properly activated -> U can do regular Windows Updates!!!
