Using fingerprint for lock apps

    Hello. Please can anyone tell me if is possible (even with external app) to lock an app or a folder in Windows 10 x64 with fingerprint reader integrated? I hope an answer. Thanks many

    AFAIK yes. I tested once with a Laptop from Toshiba and that worked well.

    I think it's all about the Reader and the diver/software used.

    I thank you, is this a native Toshiba software? I don't find it... Or can i download it from web? I hope an answer. Thanks

    Sorry, that was a few years ago. I added the software from Toshiba CD at that time and it worked just fine. It normally should be available from Toshiba Website. And just to mention, it was a Laptop from a German customer who bought that Laptop in Hongkong and I think he still uses it in Germany until today. I don't remember the Model of that Laptop, sorry for that.

    You should check with the manufacturer of the Fingerprint Reader you own for the required Reader Software and drivers!
