Using Pendrive as primary OS?

    Hello.

    I have 16GB Sandisk pendrive.
    I want to know what if I install Ubuntu os on pendrive instead of internal drive? I mean isn't it cool idea to stick the pendrive any computer and use the Ubuntu os just like portable os.?

    not sure if that will not work OS must be install in root
