No chance to get an official bios from Sony, or from a similar model? Phoenix bioses cannot be backuped fully, since the needed platform data will be missing. You need a bios to modify provided by the OEM (Sony).

I would rather not flash and stick with vista than flash and fook it up... Its not that old and is working well.. If it aint broke dont mend it. Just done a few BIOS flashes of late. Dont want to do one too many and end up braking my own...
