One of my friends has installed a partition on his computer.
On the first OS is vista basic.
On the second one he has installed vista black edition.
After a few days he got a notice that he had 28 days to activate windows.
    He has used vistaloader 3.0.0.
Now he can't boot at all on the vista partition.
    Other one works fine.

On that site I was found a thread which has pointed us to VOATK tools.

I don't have vista installed on my comp,so I can't launch the tool,to figure out how it works, but we both have no clue how to use that VOATK tools when you can't boot on the partition you want to uninstall vistaloader from.
He says he can't access the recovery console,(he already used it in another occasion),just select 'the last good configuration'.

    Help needed
    Thx in advance

Try using the repair option from the Vista install disk. If the 'Black Edition' disk doesn't have the repair option. Go here. " ttp://" . You can make a repair disk yourself. It's around 120mb to download. Good luck

    Boot with Vista's installation disk.
Choose Repair, Selecet the primary Vista partition and click Next.
Once the repair window appears, open CMD(Command Prompt) and type:
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot

Now restart the computer and boot to Vista...:D
Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
