I think it patches your OS so you can use unofficial themes

I've used this on windows 7 for ages, great program, runs a service for allowing custom themes instead of patching .dlls

    nice :)
it is interesting, how long your former patch worked for me :)
...but x32 users will not be happy probably :)
    anyway, good work :))

BTW: When do you expect final (non-beta) version? :)

The only reason this is marked as beta is because I didn't have many msstyles to test with. But seems to work fine. I'll look into the x86 version later (why are you on x86?!)

x32 guys, stop being so stingy and go buy/build a new pc.
Think of all the time developers could save if everyone was x64....... x32 is archaic and should just die.

Fine, just don't ask people to support old hardware, its not fair. Anyway, what does your dad want with themes >.>

why are you so sarcastic about that post???? not everyone can afford to buy a new one. it was a request and the TS should be the rightful to answer about that......

as long as there are still 32 bit softwares and machines, there will be still 32 bit. Look for example the browsers, how many of the popular browsers has 64 bit so far?? to name a few.... IE, palemoon, water fox.. chrome (for linux) what about FF??? they never develop 64 bit yet....

you are lucky you have a lot of money to buy new machines :p

Who are you? Just a beginner with 5 posts here. So rather listen quietly in the corner and wait when others more advanced users than you finish speaking... :D
It is MS decision to release x32 W8 not mine...
Why do you care about my dad' computer BTW? He can do with it and custom themes, what he wants...
BTW: You are pretty archaic too with your W95 logo. :D

Well, he is not lucky, but rather stupid. :)
BTW: It isn't about money at all, it is about the fashion of such weak-minded teenagers like him, who need new mobile phone ever half of the year. :)

Stingy? And who are you with your big mouth and no knowledge?

More than 90% of all business software till now still on 32bit! Most of the today's developed software are "Just" 32bit, Most of the popular Software are 32bit!

Get real Mister, back to school and learn the basics!

Could you guys please stop with the damn 32 bit - 64 bit argument which is waaaaaaaaaaaaay off topic!!!??? You will know if/when there is a x86 release!

Now back to the topic, is Aero possible with this?
