VAIO VGN-AR61ZU is dead for battery update

    Hi, I'm new in this forum,
    Sorry for my english.
    I installed a new battery and the update disk reflash the bios.
    My laptop is dead, no sound, no light leds,... If press power button, and insert power plug the power led is on, but no soud, no video, nothing happen.
    I have the file with .rom, the battery utility create a copy of original rom.
    Please help me.

    I donĀ“t have USB drive, but if procedure works, I buy one.

    The procedure works... Just did it last night on my AR-760U... as long as you have original bios... Otherwise, you can try my AR bios which you can find here

    I believe I managed to fix the bios file you posted to be flashable again.

    Download package for Emergency Recovery or DOS based flashing here:

    The package contains everyhting you should need.
    You can try without USB-Floppy first, just using USB Stick. If that fails, get a USB Floppy drive

    'Hold down: Fn+B or WinKey+B and while holding plug the computer in to power (do not plug the battery) and pres the power button'
    works in Sony VAIO?
