BIOS file Thanks for the reply, this procedure works for Sony VAIO? I donĀ“t have USB drive, but if procedure works, I buy one. The bios file is here: fileserve.com/file/7PnfWEc
The procedure works... Just did it last night on my AR-760U... as long as you have original bios... Otherwise, you can try my AR bios which you can find here forum.notebookreview.com/sony/543688-sony-vgn-ar760u-raid-bios-hacking.html#post7014964
I believe I managed to fix the bios file you posted to be flashable again. Download fixed file here: mediafire.com/?4ayq0iuv2ui07c9 Download package for Emergency Recovery or DOS based flashing here: mediafire.com/?o8js3h762ssfaos The package contains everyhting you should need. You can try without USB-Floppy first, just using USB Stick. If that fails, get a USB Floppy drive
Thanks for your help. My laptop is dead, no sound, no light leds... The procedure 'Hold down: Fn+B or WinKey+B and while holding plug the computer in to power (do not plug the battery) and pres the power button' works in Sony VAIO?
