Umm that's not validation... It's not online yet, hence no WGA plugin needs to be installed, and there is nothing to click on, nothing mentioning your system is genuine, but some links to resources at the bottom.
Yeah, Sorry if I seemed rude when I pointed that out. Its just there is nothing related to genuine status or anything, I think they're just saying read this for now.
No problems. It was strange that no ActiveX was installed, yet with the changes they made with slmgr, I mean ultra fast compared to Vista, I thought that 7 validation was faster as well.
Even if there was no activex/plugin installation, there would be some kind of notification as to the genuine status of the OS, MS love GENUINE SOFTWARE or VERY NAUGHTY NOT GENUINE

From Genuine People, Genuine Stories. That is funny. I think PR department in Microsoft is on some heavy ****.
Come on man.. why don't u understand.. it's just showing what OS u r using.. that's it.. Genuine validation is not yet up for us..
Yes, I uderstand, but if you know that this is for XP only, can you check out the WGA version on the XP. This one is 1.9.9.1
WGA is applicable to all OSes, just the notifcations are only for XP which people commonly associate that number with (for the XP wga cracks)
