Works perfectly. I have a System Reserved partition of 7GB. Previously i activated using the manual method.
Dang, beat me to it. Thought I would get more free time this week, but you know how things go. Good job.
Seems all other activators re-use the same GRLDR, with same SLIC and same CERT for every install. Maybe to set this apart, I was thinking about how to add your cert_tool and make_bootloader tools. Could check the BIOS and customize each install based on hardware. Then MS cannot just search for HPQOEM SLIC on a DELL machine and know that such and such a combination is not legit. Of course it would default to a non-matching version if needed. Is not truly needed for activation, but maybe to show other programmers it can be done. (and make them want to steal it)
great idea!!! and not to hard, mabe if it cant match the hardware it uses a random matching SLIC and cert.
Sorry dude, re-download, file was not corrupt to me. If you unrar the exe inside the zip and see his if/else if statement is need only simple tweak when Home version key become available. That is the reason why no loaders can activate home version yet, not because is hard to program, but because is no OEM:SLP keys leaked yet. Don't be so inpatient, will be leaked and all loaders will do this before Oct 22. (2 months)
Oh lord. I clicked the install program and it installed without asking me if I wanted to do it or no. I clicked to check the GUI. There's none. So, now my Windows is activated. I didn't want to. How can I uninstall?
LAWL. Is good lesson to not just run every exe from the web. If this was trojan, you would not even know it. Luckily for you nothing wrong with this tool, but in general the biggest security risk for any computer is between the chair and the keyboard. Could throw a check of CIMV2 SoftwareLicensingProduct or SoftwareLicensingService classes and see if computer is already activated and prompt "Hey, Cannot Be Activate Twice" to abort. I like it without a GUI or user interaction. Gonna be useful for anyone wanting to create vLite DVD's
Now that's how to do business!! 184kb and working perfectly! Great piece of work. Tested on Homebrew Desktop with Gigabyte MB and Ult 7. Great work!
ok I've added a menu to install, uninstall or exit to the helper batch script. the install.vbs now has /install and /uninstall command line arguments
Great. Thanks. But, if I run it again, it will inform that it's already activated or will do the process again and ask to reboot the system? It will mess wit the already loader?
if you run install again, it will just install again without error (I have been doing it all day) if you run uninstall it will install the trial key and remove the bootloader. the system will be in the same state as it was before you ran install.
