I have stopped using Ventoy. It simply does not boot on 50% of the computers. Sometimes it boots to a console prompt. As a repair tech, I need something more robust. Cheers.
The only difference is you have the latest version, but you can renew it again with the update version *g Or Install new, all ISO in Hell
I'm playing since tonight and creating one iso after another. Have created AOMEI Backupper and AOMEI Partion, no free version, all technicians. Since the stupid Aomei Backupper 7.12, has not created an EFI file in the boot folder, I took from the, AOMEI Partion the files, there are the present. Iso saved, and times tried to boot, Crasht, I also thought that happens. Then I created a new WinPE ADK and installed the Boot.wim, same problem. But problem now is that the X86 ISO images I created no longer boot. Looks like an old TV After that even AOMEI Backupper boots only with hangers. I don't know what the problem is, but something seems to have changed. Remedy, was here, simply to reinstall the file system of Ventoy, to the version ventoy-1.0.85-windows. It seems that when an ISO is incorrectly created and booted, the whole file system changes.
I mean, what's the difference between Ventoy in Package and Ventoy in Device? What's Package and what's Device? Why Package has exFAT/MBR and Device has exFAT/MBR (note that I already know what a filesystem and partition table is)?
Is it better to change your language in Ventoy to understand you. Local and device ( USB-STICK-HDD) you do not need an update everything is up to date with you
So Package is the compressed file I downloaded, OK. But why Package has a Filesystem and Partition Table? I understand why Ventoy shows a Filesystem and Partition Table in Device but I don't understand why in the Package.
it has one table for the file system and one for the files. these are 2 partitions in the rule. therefore it is also possible to update the version without deleting the files , iso, boot.wim, etc.. I think I understand what you mean, you do not see the 2 partion. there is certainly a drive letter occupied. If necessary put a Vmware on and mount the stick or HDD
Just hover over it & read the comment. It's the default mode. Go to options & change it if you like. ie, MBR to GPT...
I understand Ventoy in Device is partition S: WORKSPACE Is Ventoy in Package partition T: VTOYEFI ? If so why Ventoy gui says exFAT and File Explorer says FAT as filesystem?
