    Hi all,

    After reading sam3971

"Update: Basically to make things easier, you need these three components to activate Windows 7 like a legit OEM.
    1. Slic 2.1 in your bios(Like I said, real easy to do if you want to take the risk)
    2. A matching Certificate
    3. An OEM Slp key that goes to your version(I recommend you to use the one that matches your slic manufacture as well)"

And then looking at a post talking about verifying the oem files used for Slic activation with XP (for Win xp, not 7 - but my thought is related).

My question is,for the windows 7 files, is there any way verify all the additional files that are being used, once a bios mod is ready. I'm not referring to just verifying the download. I mean checking them for integrity and purity to be surer than sure that they are unchanged/unmodified and are the originals. I'm asking this to learn, so please go easy on me if I've asked in the wrong place.

    My warm and sincere thanks,

    Bakersfield
