I have X64 Pro w/WMC and Big Muscle Windows glass and have turned off automatic updates as I don't want to break either of them. When I do manual updates with Windows Update Multi Tool, I am getting both security and non-security updates that are installing properly that are shown as Version 1511. Am I getting all the updates I need? Is it safe to install the non security updates as I have up been doing? How long will Microsoft support updates for 10.0.10586? If you wanna stay with 1511 don't download the "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607" update, all others are fine. 1511 is a different branch and you can stay with that I assume for a long time. I am staying with it to.
I made that a "hidden update" with WUMT. I don't like where Windows 10 is going and will remain here before Microsoft made further restrictions and broke more of Windows.
