    Hi Everyone

Can somene recommend a good version of linux for a beginner to play around with? I've tried ubuntu, but I didn't really like it. I was going to try puppy linux, but I thought I would ask if that is a good one to use or if there's something better?

Since you didn't like Ubuntu, you're probably going to dislike Debian as well, so I recommend you try OpenSUSE. It has a GUI installer and tons of resources available on the net so it's perfect for a beginner.

Dream Linux 3.5 or 4.0 Beta is very attractive and has a very friendly forum...! It's what I use :hug2:

If you don't like Ubuntu then there is no problem as in market there are lot of operating system are present like... OpenSUSE, Debian, LInuxMint, PCLinuxOS, Dream Linux and many more. You can choose among them and use the one which looks very much familiar for you...
