Hello, I have a very old laptop Maxdata ECO 4000 IW and I have installed Windows 7 on it. It works ok but I tried to find a BIOS for it so I could insert a new slic certificate into it. Unfortunately I have not found the BIOS file nor the Flash Tool.

    Here are my 2 questions:
    1. Can I read the current BIOS from the system, embed the cert into it, then flash it back in?
    2. Where could I find the Flash Tool for this BIOS for Windows 7?

I hope some of you experienced people would know it straight away saving hours of research that I would have to do (yes, I did a small research with no luck).

    All help appreciated. ;)

Well it might be, the laptop I have is ECO 4000, would it cause any problems if it was not the right one?

EDIT: I selected this bios in Phoenix SLIC Mod and it says not Insyde BIOS.
