video editing on windows 7 x64

    what company you recommend to me?
    i used a couple of days before the movie maker 2011 from microsoft but when i finalize it the sound was correct but the video was totally black
    so i would like to tell me a good company or at least how to fix the above problem thanks

    I use virtual dub. Freeware with good plugins.

    You didn't mention the type of video you're trying to work with.. mpg2, h.264, TS, etc...
