Video issues

    PC to monitor works just fine. Added video card from my pc to my ty via HDMI and now I get no video anywhere. When I put my tv on HDMI2 It says the source is not connected.

    What could coz all this?

    PS... I connected the tv to the pc and unplugged my monitor. Then I turned on my pc and it says the source is not connected. Bad hdmi cable?

    assuming you tried HDMI1 on the TV? Devils advocate, it needs asked hehe

    HDMI1 is used for cable box to tv.

    ok, I can see my tv but I do not see my monitor located under display settings. Is that because I did not install drivers? If not, what is the issue then?

    What card we're talking about? You're trying this with Windows Default Graphics drivers?

    You gave very little info so far, so i assume no-one is able to help :g:.

    Install the Catalyst and try again...what? The correct drivers from AMD site?

    When i am about to install graphics drivers, its asking me to create a folder where I want to place the drivers. Is there a certain place I should put tis folder? Plz let me know.

    Using the offered path here :D. They are about 200 MB for x64 and will be extrcted there prior to actual installation.

    this machine is 32 bit so does it make a difference where i put the folder? If so, where plz?

    Makes no difference i guess :g:. Simply install with given options and check whether the problem persists :cool2:.

    Slave, I can only see my tv listed under display and not my dell monitor. How do I fix this plz? ATI card.

    Just so u know I have never used dual monitors before nor seen anyone who has so this is all new to me.thx
