Hey everyone, Is there a way of viewing a BIOS bin/rom file to explore the menu structure and options? Would QEMU be able to load a bin file extracted from a hardware BIOS chip?
1. Using QEMU or similar virtualization solutions, you can't do it. 2. Phoenix BIOS Editor can preview vanilla Phoenix roms, but its old, not generic & error-prone. 3. If the rom is UEFI compliant, then it can be possible to extract the setup utility module & get the idea of the available menus/submenus.
