Use a dual-layer dvd. They are pretty cheap these days.

    Thanks, ill try that :)

Afraid i cannot do that atm, i dont want to buy a duallayer dvd which fits 8.5GB and only use 4.6GB, seems like a total waste to me. And i know its suppose to fit into a dvd.
I download singalaviral's Vista SP2 isofiles and matched hashes which are correct btw.

    Thanks for your replies:)

I do not think that there's a way to fit AIO in a 4.7 GB for all versions. I created a Windows Vista x86 & x64 Ultimate ONLY. It's about 4.2 GB.

Sucks that Vista is that big, its working fine with windows 7 but vista no....

Not that i really need a vista dvd but my gf uses vista in her laptop and im only using 7.. and its nice having xp, vista and 7:)

Just suggesting this since you mentioned using vlite. Vista ran awfully slowly on one of my machines so i made a lite version. kept most things just removed a few space hoggers like printer drivers and windows help and ended up with a really small size. ya, a lot of people dont like doing that but if you are keen to have vista on a single layer dvd, maybe you could try that.

Yea ofcourse i could do that, never thougt of it :p
I can try strip it down a little and see what happens, altho i like to keep everything as untouched as possible:)

    Thanks, ill try it.

Hm that didnt work too well, the folder is 4.43 GB (according to windows) but vLite still says the iso is too big to fit on a dvd.
Ive tried to remove some big parts (not any language tho) from vista starter only, but with no real success..

I'd rather not remove too much ..

why oh why for the sake of carrying another dvd, never strip things away always comes back to you especialy if used vlite update packs don't install e.c.t. may look kewl impressing your friends but at the end of the day not worth the effort. and even with windows 7 removing all images ecept 1 and compressing you don't even gain that much. Language packs are the killer if really remove them.
